My Critque on Esack’s “The Quran”

Find attached my paper which I wrote in 2018, while studying at the University of Johannesburg. It is a critique om Fareed Esack’s “The Qur’an: A Beginner’s Guide”.

Western Academia are not open to criticism. They are free to tear us apart but do not like it when they get a taste of their own medicine, especially when the medicine is from their own prescription and methodology. Instead of concrete responses, the examiner commented, “This person might know the Quraan, but has not earned the right to criticise.”
